Today I had a busy day! I got to relax while we took an hour car ride down to Del Mar. Del Mar is known for horse racing..."Where the surf meets the turf" is their slogan. The only horse I saw was the one in the picture. I walked all around the downtown area and found a great doggie store that had lots of natural treats. Mom bought me a few things...so lucky :) We then headed up the coast to Solana Beach and stopped at the Cedros Design District. It is a great street with many shops. On the way home we stopped in Carlsbad at a yummy place called Tip Top Meats. It is a German Market, meat shop, and restaurant. I had some tasty rouladen and cabbage roll.
